Jim Woodrow - Time

I try to see through all this violence and hatred,
I'm still here, someone else is turning the pages,
as long as I feel like I tried my best,
without accusing people of causing my problems,
the time that we test heals in the end.

So I think of the future which reflects my past,
I'm just me and I want to live free,
from peoples assumptions, and what they believe,
we walk in the life that we're in while it's here,
no need to hurry, just trying to be.
